Just wanted to check in with my bohemea-followers. I wanted to wish y’all a Merry Christmas and let you know that I’m still finding solace in posting at my personal Tumblr, so it’ll be some time before I’m back to posting here. I do miss the people I follow, y’all make me happy. Please feel free to email me or comment if you’d like to share anything or have a chat.
Thanks again for the loving, open-hearted comments that have been sent to suicideblonde & myself, and to those of you who have followed me over to my other Tumblr. Posting there has been a comfort. We are really appreciative for the support, it means the world.

I’m going to move my Tumblr posts to my personal Tumblr for a spell. There’s a lot going on right now that I need to chronicle and this feels like an odd place to do it, mixed in with all the pictures of celebrity boobs & model legs and whatnot. You’re welcome to follow it, I’d love to get to know y’all better.
Thank you for the kind words and condolences that were sent to suicideblonde & me. They soothed us. For those of you who have also suffered loss this year, our hearts are with you, and we’re still hoping that everyone has a holiday filled with love and warmth. I think we all deserve it.
I had this picture in my drafts from earlier this month and forgot to post it. The caption I wrote up read:
Tonight while Christmas decorating, I observed Pinkie’s tight-clad legs and my pretty retro skirt with sparkly lights decorating the floor between us and I said, “This is a moment Raychel would photograph.” So we stopped, and took an inspired photo. I sure do love twinkling lights.
Trudy loves Chester!
Trudy, my chihuahua, and bohemea & suicideblonde’s doggie Chester have been married for 8 years. Isn’t that amazing? He got her this ornament for their first Christmas together. She’s glad he’s got Vega to keep him warm, though. Just as I am sure he approves of her liasons with the cats.
I love bohemea & suicideblonde ever so and there are many reasons that canada and oklahoma should relocate to be near each other (I for one would like to be more northerly). it’s not really fair. xoxo
And Chester loves Trudy! Even though Vega is currently kissing Chester’s face, Trudy & Chester have a strong enough relationship to not let that get in the way.

I have a connection to this song on a few levels. It was on the radio this morning while we drove to Gramma’s house. It was comforting.
My grampa with my dog Vega when she was just a puppy about 12 years ago. I still can’t believe he’s gone. Please keep my family in your thoughts right now, this time is so difficult with loosing our father, grampa, and especially for my gramma, her husband of 60 years.
This was supposed to happen today.
My Lady’s Grandfather passed away last night. Though my Grampa by marriage, I loved him like my own flesh and blood. He was kind, sweet, gentle, generous, attentive, funny and full of more love than anyone I’ve ever known. The loss has been such a blow, especially this close to Christmas.
He & Gramma were supposed to spend the afternoon with us at our home today. We were going to make them sandwiches and then he was going to take a nap with our old wiener dog while we played Scrabble with Gramma. Instead we spent the day in his home, without him there, holding Gramma while she mourned her husband of 60 years. We’re so full of sorrow.
