Palin Pick Leaves Bruised Feelings | The Trail | washingtonpost.com
I guess my biggest issue with McCain picking Palin is that he obviously thinks any woman will be a draw, and that women will put gender over real leadership ability. I am completely unimpressed with Palin, and contrasting her with Hillary — an international political powerhouse — I feel she becomes even less impressive. That’s not to say Palin couldn’t become a remarkable female leader. But McCain does no justice to Palin by putting her in the position of being compared to Hillary Clinton, and he does no justice to the women who voted for Hillary Clinton because of her lifelong work as a champion for Democratic and women’s causes.
