Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, writer Tim Minear, Sean Maher, Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau and Joss Whedon at the Firefly 10th Anniversary Reunion press conference at San Diego Comic-Con, July 13th
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH ALL THESE FEELS?

Firefly Reunion Panel at San Diego Comic-Con, July 13th
Jensen asks Whedon what the fans have meant to him. What happens next is one of the most emotionally moving moments I’ve seen at Comic-Con. Whedon struggles, or seems to, for the right words.
Somebody in the crowd yells out, “We love you!”
Whedon hears this, struggles some more.
And the crowd begins to applaud, and stand up, and soon the entire room is in an ovation. The cast stands up too. It’s possibly the most perfect way to end the panel.
Whedon takes the microphone. “Only an idiot would try to follow that with a sentence,” he says, which is precisely what I was thinking.
“When you come out of a great movie you feel like you’re in that world,” he says. “When you’re telling a story you’re trying to connect to people in a particular way. It’s about inviting them into a world. The way you’ve inhabited this world, this universe, you have become part of it. When I see you guys, I don’t think the show is off the air. I think there’s spaceships and horses — the story is alive.”
Look at their sweet faces all lined up in a row! My heart!

I just realized what Terence Winter did to us tonight. He totally Joss Whedon’ed our asses! Thanks for all the I-am-a-leaf-on-the-wind sadness, jerk!

‘Firefly’, ‘Playboy Club’ star Sean Maher opens up about his sexuality: ‘This is my coming out ball’
“Looking back, on Firefly for instance, I do wish on day one I had told them because these are some of the most amazing people who are still like family to me,” Maher says. “I am so grateful for that show because they saved me. I was so unhappy and lonely and to come to work everyday with that group was wonderful. It really was all I had at that point in my life.”
